So sang Baby June in the immortal “Gypsy”. And so say all of us at the Ivoryton Playhouse. It is what we do best. We have been entertaining and making folks smile since Katharine Hepburn first set foot on stage here in 1931 and ignited a spark that has burned brightly for the past 89 years. Through the tough years of wars and civil rights riots and financial crashes, the Playhouse has carried on working – lifting the spirits of our community and our visitors.

And now, in what is possibly the most desperate and confusing time that we have ever lived through, we intend to keep lifting spirits – as long as we have help from you, our friends and family. We have been unable to produce even one play this year so our only source of income is you. We are so grateful for all of the members of our Playhouse family.

Without your help, 2021 will be a dark year for the Ivoryton Playhouse. Please consider a membership donation to help us turn the lights on again. In return, we will start entertaining you right away. We will email you a thank you message recorded by one of our actors with a little something to make you smile.
